As many of you know, this summer I'm going to Taxco, Mexico to study for seven weeks. I'm so thankful for an opportunity to learn and travel, and I can't wait to see how God can use this summer to help me grow in Him.
While I'm in Taxco, I'll be living with a host family and taking two classes at the University. One is an intensive language class and the other is a culture class. Some weekends we have scheduled trips and things, but there are a few free ones, so I'll hopefully make it to a couple of the Mexico churches.
I thought that this blog would be a good way for me to keep a record of what I'm doing and for all of you to see what I'm up to. I'll try to post often and post pictures when I can! If you can figure out how to leave comments, you should definitely do that... because I want to hear from you too!

Hannah, I am SO excited for you! My study-abroad experience has been incredible, and has definitely shown me how to better rely on God and thank Him for everything. (I can't belive I have only 3 weeks left here, aaaah!) I hope you find the same. I'm praying for you! I miss you and I can't wait to hang out later this summer and trade stories. It's been WAY too long! I'll definitely be checking out your blog (I'm sure you'll be able to do a better job than I did at keeping it updated, haha... I literally posted twice... oops). :) I love you!

Diane - I just saw your family at the library and was wishing you were with them so I could give you a big hug! :) Thanks so much for your prayers and encouragement. So many people have attested to God's faithfulness throughout experiences such as these and I'm so thankful for His provision. Have a safe trip home and I can't wait to catch up in a couple of months!
